The National Infection Prevention Forum (NIPF) fosters collaboration and sharing of experiences between Infection Preventionists (IPs) in LTC. The group is intended to foster community, provide resources and to rapidly disseminates federal updates about infections in LTC as they become available from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), or Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA).
There are designated threads for general discussion, Hot Topics, and to test your clinical skills using Clinical Based Scenarios. The American Health Care Association (AHCA) manages the forum that was initially created with funding from CDC Project First Line.
