Marianne Hassen, MA, OTR/L is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 40 years of experience in post-acute care. She earned her B.S. from Wayne State University and her M.A. from Siena Heights University. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Concept Rehab, Inc. (CRI), Marianne leads strategic initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality therapy services across multiple states.
With expertise in clinical best practices, reimbursement and regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and post-acute care alliances, Marianne is dedicated to driving excellence in therapy services. She actively engages with both customers and employees to enhance service delivery, implement industry-leading strategies, and navigate evolving healthcare regulations.
A recognized thought leader, Marianne has presented at major healthcare conferences, including OHCA, HCAM, PHCA, OOTA, MiOTA, and LeadingAge MI, covering topics such as therapy reimbursement, customer service, legislative impact, payment reform, and therapy service strategy.
In addition to her executive leadership, Marianne is committed to education and mentorship. She has served as an adjunct faculty at The University of Toledo and The University of Findlay, lectured at Owens Community College, and Eastern Michigan University. She has also contributed as a Fieldwork Education Trainer for the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Marianne has co-chaired the Advion Emerging Leaders initiative for several years, helping to equip therapy providers with the knowledge and tools to advocate for and influence policy for the therapy professions and the future of post-acute care.
